Description
This painting is inspired from the scenic autumn season of Hunza Valley in Pakistan. The valley boasts of various seasonal colours all year round but the autumnal colours are my favourite!
I’ve used titanium white and light blue violet to paint the sky and the clouds. Birch trees carry shades of raw umber and unbleached titanium. The stony walls are painted in tones of raw umber, Ivory black and whites. The carpet of autumn leaves and leaves are painted using shades of cadmium red, burnt orange, alizarin crimson, cadmium yellow and cadmium orange.
The long road covered with fallen leaves may tempt the viewers to experience the crunch of leaves beneath their footsteps and the solitude of crispy, autumn afternoon!
