I began creating art at a very young age as it became a hobby that brought me comfort emotionally and physically. Art helps me learn more about myself and gives me a lot of enjoyable quality time.

My inspiration comes from the beauty and mysteries of the world. My paintings are a celebration of color, form, texture, and meditation on the relationship between light, shadow, and atmosphere. However, my favorite type of artwork is creating paintings on different sorts of landscapes, it gives me a chance to convey more feelings and thoughts into my paintings because they remind me of the gracious gifts the Almighty (Allah) has given us.

At the same time, I believe there is a relationship between art and social justice. I have made it my goal as an artist to create artwork that is both personal to me and can express a sense of social

responsibility and human rights. I usually love and prefer to paint in oil medium, but I enjoy exploring other different mediums as well. For the most part, I used palette knives and fingers for blending. In my mixed media artwork, I use all sorts of objects such as eggshells, paper, mirror pieces, and coffee. The majority of my landscape pieces were based on my hometown which reflects my patriotism with my beloved country, Pakistan. At the same time, my artwork shows my love for my second home, UAE, where I have resided for 17 years. This land has provided me peaceful and a friendly surrounding.
