Description
This painting is my artistic rendition of Fairy Meadows, named by German climbers. The original location is near one of the base campsite of Nanga Parbat, Gilgit Baltistan in Pakistan.
Ultramarine blue, titanium white, raw umber and ivory black have been used to paint the sky and snow caped mountains. Several shades of yellow green, light green and hooker’s green, raw umber, indian yellow and titanium white are used to paint the valleys and vast spread of field and grasses.
The breath-taking, scenic view lures the viewers to feel the meadow’s cool early morning air and the wetness of the fresh morning grass!
